Noerr LLP will continue to support the German National rounds. This year they will be sponsoring the Announcement Dinner. Noerr will be represented by their Partner Michael Molitoris. This year, Meister Rechtsanwälte starts supporting the Jessup Competition by sponsoring the Welcome Reception. Their Partner, Professor Dr Claus Köhler, who has broad experience with transnational and multi-national litigation and arbitration will represent the firm. Professor Köhler is President of the Permanent Court of Arbitration of the German-Romanian Chamber of Commerce in Bucharest and Vice President of the Permanent Court of Arbitration of the German-Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw.
Gleiss Lutz will continue to sponsor the awards for the best Oralists. Their Partner, Dr Stephan Wilske, LL.M., who has served as a Jessup judge for a decade will again represent the firm. Dr Wilske is specialised in arbitration and cross-border litigation. He has extensive expertise in both domestic and international arbitration with a special focus on i.a. investment arbitration proceedings.
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer will continue to sponsor the German National Rounds. Their partner, Dr Juliane Hilf, has served as a judge at the German National Rounds for several years. Dr Hilf is Freshfields' global environment partner and co-heads the new technologies/new infrastructure.
Graf von Westphalen will continue to support the German National Rounds. This year, they will sponsor the Best Memorial for Applicant Award and will once more be represented by Dr Hartmut Henninger. Dr Henninger is a lawyer at Graf von Westphalen, mainly focussing on international law, including foreign trade law, market regulation and export controls and sanctions. Since he has been representing his firm for some years, he already is a well experienced Jessup Judge.
Latham & Watkins is the contributor of the award for the best Oralist at German Championship Round. They will be represented by Dr Jan Erik Spangenberg who is an associate in the Litigation Department in the Hamburg office of Latham & Watkins. Dr Spangenberg is a member of Latham's international arbitration practice group. He focusses on international arbitration and litigation in investment proceedings.
Dr Johannes Dilling continues to support the German National Rounds. Also he is a well experienced Jessup Judge and will continue his work.
