Dear visitors and friends of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition!

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the official website of the Jessup Competition’s German National Rounds 2017. The German National Rounds will take place in Passau from 8th to 12th March 2017.

As you are undoubtedly aware, the Jessup Competition 2016/2017 has already started in September with the release of this year’s Compromis. This year, it addresses transboundary aquifers, basic human rights including the rights to food and water, and what happens when arguable violations of those rights generate refugee outflows.

As usual, the International Law Students Association (ILSA) also publishes additional material, the official rules and an official schedule to the competition. Those documents and the official German Supplement Rules 2017 can be found on this website and the ILSA-website.

To obtain further information about the organisation of the German National Round, schedules, locations, our sponsors or how to find your way to Passau, please look through this website.

If there are any inquiries (e.g. “How to found a Jessup Team”, “How to interpret the Official German Supplement Rules”, etc.), please do not hesitate to contact me at any time.

I am looking forward to welcoming you in Passau

Yours

Sebastian Kasper
